to Tiffany Jones Fine Art Consultant
My name is Tiffany Jones and I’ve worked in the fine art sector since 1995. I am recognised as one of Queensland’s most experienced and reputable art dealers and consultants. Art is my life’s passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I grew up in an art-collecting family who encouraged an appreciation of beauty, fostered by exotic childhood travels through Asia and Papua New Guinea.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Art History, I immersed myself in the beauty and culture of Europe, living and working in London, and revelling in visits to incredible galleries.
On returning to Australia, I co-founded one of Queensland’s most successful art brokerage and exhibiting companies, staging beautiful exhibitions of fine art in Brisbane, Noosa and regional Queensland, combined with regular interstate trips to source special pieces.
Together with my family, I then established and managed for 11 years, one of Queensland’s most loved and respected galleries, Tiffany Jones Fine Art Gallery at Buderim.
With over twenty years’ experience dealing in Fine Australian Art, and handling pieces by of some of Australia’s most prestigious and collectable artists, I have developed a wealth of knowledge and many valuable contacts in the art world. I am also recognised as a specialist in the art of Norman Lindsay and Hugh Sawrey.
Art is my life’s passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I have had the pleasure of advising many loyal clients all over Australia as they build or sell beautiful collections, giving first time buyers or experienced collectors, peace of mind as I guide them in developing an eye for quality and in creating a beautiful art collection.
I now operate as a Fine Art Consultant, and offer a personalised service, with exclusive viewings from my private Art Studio in central Buderim, which presents an ever-changing selection of over 150 fine art works.
My ‘by-appointment’ model allows me to contribute more time to what I love most about the art world – people and paintings – with more time for clients and deeper collaboration with my artists. I use my trained eye to source stunning art works, not only from artists I’ve championed for decades, but also stylish new pieces from emerging contemporary artists.
When I’m not surrounded by paintings, I love pottering in my garden, discovering new wines, taking photographs, spending time with family, friends and my beloved dog, and dreaming about visiting another beautiful and inspirational place.
