Artist's Biography
Maurice Namatjira was born at Hermannsburg in 1939.
Maurice is the fifth and youngest son of the great watercolour artist, Albert Namatjira.
He married Edna Panka, who was sister to the artists Claude, Nelson and Ivan Panka, also noted Hermannsburg artists.
