Banksia Walk – Noosa National Park – SOLD

I’m delighted to now offer a beautiful work by respected landscape artist,  the late Hal Barton. Barton’s classic coastal landscapes are held in private collections all over Australia. 

A legendary figure in the Sunshine Coast art scene, Barton’s landscapes, with their skilful depiction of beach flora and clear coastal light, are admired by art collectors for their realism. 

Interestingly, as a young man, when training as an artist in South Australia, and sketching in the Adelaide Hills, Barton received encouragement and tips from master landscape artist Sir Hans Heysen. 

In addition to this lovely piece shown above, I also have anotherslightly smaller Hal Barton oil of the beach and dunes at Peregian. It complements “Banksia Walk” very well. Both pieces are framed the
same, and work beautifully as companion pieces.
