Swept Away – SOLD

Rayma Eveson’s poem to accompany this beautiful piece:

“Swept Away”

The wind blew and blew on a stormy wet day.

The sky turned sea green

And they all flew away.

 Talented Rayma Eveson’s latest addition to the Art Studio is this wonderful new piece, “Swept Away”, which evokes the wonder and delight of being swept away on an adventure.

Many of Rayma’s works explore the beauty and freedom of dreaming and imagining. This amazing piece captures the joy and free spirit of a boy on a fantastical adventure. With his dog for company, and a magnificent, kindly whale as his guide, the boy sweeps through billowing clouds on a magical boat ride.

This was a really special piece for Rayma and she shared with me that she cried when this pastel was finished – so much detail and emotion expressed in this lovely work!
