I’m delighted to announce an Elegant Collaboration of Fine Art and Fine Wine at my beautiful Garden & Art Studio, with talented artist Kate Piekutowksi and respected winemaker Samantha Connew. Invited guests will enjoy a very special afternoon at the launch of Kate’s first solo exhibition in Queensland whilst indulging in boutique wines from Stargazer Wine.
Talented artist Kate Piektowski and myself will host at my Art Studio an intimate preview for the launch of her solo exhibition “Where Memories Fall”. On offer will be 25 beautiful hand crafted Unique State etchings that celebrate the pleasure of fine wine, the beauty of architecture, and a nostalgia for the charm of Europe.
Tasmanian-born Kate, of Polish descent, is the latest artist to join my stable. Her distinctive etchings are already well known in Melbourne and Tasmania. Each of Kate’s etchings are a unique hand-crafted piece. Several works are hand painted, embellished with gold leaf, or created from a variety of inked plates to provide a stunning multi-layered effect.
Guests will also indulge in an exclusive wine tasting from esteemed winemaker Samantha Connew. This will be a unique opportunity to enjoy Samantha’s wines and fascinating stories about her life with insights into the limited release wines from her Tasmanian vineyard, including Stargazer’s 2018 Tasmanian Riesling, and the Tupelo and Rada vintages that feature Kate Piekutowki’s stunning etchings on the labels.
Samantha established Stargazer following an esteemed career in wine research and development, and as Winemaker for Tower Estate, and Senior Winemaker at Wirra Wirra Vineyards. In 2014 she was appointed Chair of Judges at the Sydney Royal Wine Show, the first female and youngest judge in that position. It is a privilege to host Samantha at the Art Studio, and for my guests to enjoy her beautiful wines, due to her limited number of stockists and incredibly busy schedule. Kate’s solo exhibition will show daily at the Art Studio from Saturday 13 to Sunday 28 October, 10am to 5pm daily.
As well as being at the Opening on the 13th October, Kate and Tiffany will also be available to chat with art lovers on Sunday 14 October , when the Art Studio will be open for public viewing from 10am to 3pm, with no appointment necessary.
