“A Thousand Miles Beyond: The Equine Paintings of Hugh Sawrey”, is the perfect book for collectors and followers of Hugh Sawrey’s art, with a special focus on his paintings that feature horses. The 120 page book showcases a wide range of equine themed works covering Sawrey’s professional painting career from 1965 to the year of his passing in 1999.
Released in 2019, the book was compiled and edited by Hugh’s son, Anthony Sawrey, and its release marked the 100th anniversary of Hugh Sawrey’s birth in 1919. Being a specialist in Sawrey’s art and having sold many of his pieces over the past 28 years, Tiffany Jones was invited by the Sawrey family to contribute photos to include in the book, which included several works purchased through Tiffany Jones Fine Art. Final choice of images printed in the book were at the discretion of the publisher Anthony Sawrey.
Cost of the book is $80, plus postage. Copies of this book are available to order from Tiffany Jones Fine Art, for a limited time.
